September Pet Insurance Month Campaign
Problem Statement
Going into the month of September, we wanted to be able to present a united campaign that tied together everything we were putting out. Considering that September was Pet Insurance Month, we opted to use this to raise awareness about what exactly pet insurance is and why the best choice is Petplan. The only question was what the best way to present this information was.
01 Gameplan
We decided to take an approach that helped explain what pet insurance is and what it covers, but more importantly, what makes Petplan the best choice for pet insurance.
Using our new graphic style, brighter colors and iconography, we laid out the facts in a fun and interactive way. We decided to tackle social first, as our email program was going through some major changes and needed to be paused for the time being.
02 Social Expansion
Once we had determined the overall theme and plan of explaining pet insurance with a twist, we worked on versioning out social elements to support this effort. We mostly created carousels that could be used on both Facebook and Instagram to push out more detailed information.
Our copywriter, another designer and I worked on questions that felt the most relevant to users and how we could use our new design system to visualize the answers. We chose to use the expressive new photography and simple icons to make reading through the content a more enjoyable experience.
03 Final Assets
After determining an overall theme and a visual style, we worked as a team to create out enough assets for the rest of the month.
